History

Balboa Collections has been licensed by the State of California since 1979. In 1981, Rudy Sanchez, Balboa's current CEO and President, took over and started up its Commercial Division.

Management Profile

So that we may professionally represent our clients, Balboa Collections offers a special blending of corporate credit background with its solid collection agency experience. Rudy Sanchez brings to the company over 35 years of expertise, which spans the spectrum of the credit and collection industry. Mr. Sanchez has spent over nineteen years in the collection agency industry, with the last seventeen years of solid credit management, having served as Corporate Credit Manager of Thriftimart (Smart & Final, Jersey-Maid and Iris Foods), as well as Mattel Toys and A & B Garments.

Pursuing his interest in computer technology as it relates to our industry, Rudy has been instrumental in supporting the development of state-of-the art software programs, which have greatly enhanced our abilities to collect accounts that other agencies cannot.

Rudy received his B.S. in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Time and time again, the above statement proves true. There is nothing worse in the collection business than to have a client's expectations unfulfilled. For this reason, we welcome your inquiries as to what is "do-able" to resolve an account.

As collectors, we are requested to resolve accounts that may be disputed, in financial difficulty, insolvent or skipped. We are not magicians or miracle workers and therefore cannot collect every account given to us. However, at Balboa Collections we will do everything that is ethically and legally possible to resolve each account to your satisfaction. If you have any questions regarding the handling of a specific account, please feel  free to discuss concerns with us.
